Dear Neighbor,

I am running for City Council District 3 because I am a problem solver that is passionate about San Diego. There are numerous challenging issues facing us such as the city organization and employee crisis, homelessness, housing, transit and climate change.

As your Councilmember, I will use my twenty-five years of experience in public policy advocacy, community outreach, environmental stewardship, small business know-how and community service to tackle these problems.  I have a professional career and volunteer history of getting things done.

I’m a homegrown San Diegan who graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in Rancho Penasquitos and attended City College in downtown.  I lived in Hillcrest and then bought my first condo home in Mission Hills.   Whether it was walking through Seaport Village with my parents as a kid, my first job as a paperboy riding my bicycle or being the youngest president of a town council, this city has shaped my life and made me who I am today.  I know San Diego.

I know how City Hall works and I know how City Hall does not work.   Having been a community leader, I am sensitive to the concerns of our neighborhoods.  With your support, I have a track-record of results and a history of experience that is ready to get to work on day one.

Please contact me if you have any questions.  I hope that you vote for me on March 3rd, 2020.

Thank you,
